Georgia McLean is taken from her house to a pond where her kidnapper shoots her in the head. He intends to throw her into the pond, but a boy walking his dog disrupts his plans. Andi is having a hard time coming to grips with helping people before they've been cremated. Is this going to be the new norm? If it is, can she continue the assignment God has given her? Andi calls Father Riley's cousin, Father Ian, to help figure things out. Even though Father Ian specializes in exorcisms, not murdered people, he wants Espy, a former Wiccan, to participate. How's that going to work out? As everyone soon learns, the entire situation is a lot more complicated than anyone anticipated, especially Andi's husband, Jack, who's a cop at Edgerton PD.
